Like most Jovian colonies, 51ur8-90 isn't the type of place people intentionally visit. It's far enough from the main trade routes that groceries cost an arm and a leg, but not quite distant enough to have any sense of frontier charm. It's where the careers of Federation officers go to die, and where wannabe space pirates go to find real jobs.
Bo Halloran runs an unlicensed repair shop on 51ur8-90. The find themselves playing an unexpectedly pivotal role in a conflict that stretches far beyond the backwater colony when they accept a job from the most infamous pilot in the Rebellion, and become inadvertently entwined with the Federation officer determined to hunt them down.

I love how this game allows you to pick genders and pronouns for everything! I enjoyed this so very much, and im excited for anything that might come of it in the future!
Thanks for playing through the demo! I'm slowly making progress on this project, and still hope to have a full release sometime this spring!
Aaahh!! I honestly can't wait for the full version and I also can't believe that nobody commented on this game
bruhBefore I talk about the storyline- the bugs. I went with female+she/her Bo, male+he/him Kai, female+they/their Alex, and male+she/her (basically, transgender) Shay. First of all, in the Image Gallery, Shay shows as a female. Second bug- in the Replay Room Extra Scenes, Shay's sprite is female (with she/her pronouns) and sometimes Shay shows as "Beautiful Stranger", Alex as "Federation Officer", and Kai as "Angry Nerd". Third error- I don't know if this is a typo or intended- when Shay, Bo and Ben talks about Vinny, Bo says "Haven't heard from him in years though." and Shay says "She does go by a different name... she's still an idiot." Is Vinny genderfluid? (I'm not sure whether this is how genderfluid works but..)
Now on the gameplay. Pretty decent, personally I would love to see more action but I'm not complaining about the current one. Overall everything seems smooth, I'm curious how this game will take shape once it's fully developed.

Thanks for reporting the bugs! I have an inkling of what’s going on with most of these, and will try to get them fixed ASAP ^^;
The line of dialog you captured is intentional, and I was actually really curious whether or not people would catch it. I actually went back and forth about whether or not I should include it (or conversely, elaborate on the details happening in this scene) but ultimately decided to leave it as is. In this line of dialog, Bo is (accidentally) misgendering Vinny, who has changed pronouns since the last time they've spoken. Shay is (gently) correcting them. I wanted to illustrate how in this world the idea of somebody transitioning (or otherwise changing their gender presentation or pronoun usage) is seen as something relatively unremarkable. If or when Bo encounters Vinny again, they might they might congratulate her on her new pronouns, but the news that Vinny is using she/her pronouns wouldn't interrupt the overall flow of the conversation Bo is having with Shay.

Ooh so Bo and Ben were misgendering Vinny! Showing people making mistakes on transitioning is nice to see, it is a purely natural thing that doesn't show in visual novels often. Best of luck with the bugs and thanks for the reply :)
